About The Summit

Our mission in this event is to gather local and national homesteading talent to come together to teach one another how to prosper as rural and urban homesteaders. We are gathering people from northern Missouri and southern Iowa together, from Des Moines to Kansas City, and every rural town in between to share our talents from gardening to basket weaving to chicken keeping. We believe what you eat and where that food comes from is important from the seeds you plant to the steak you buy or raise for sale.

Our goal is to connect local people with the tools and people to be successful in their homestead venture. Whether you are just interested in how to start or are looking to take your homestead to the next level, this is the event to attend. Stay connected to our Facebook event page HERE as we are adding speakers and demonstrators daily. This two day event will educate, connect and enrich those who attend.
